Government Orders:

Poly Scientific is under Government Contract #V797P-5469X. This contract is awarded until August 31, 2011. Please call our government sales department for further contract information and discounts.

Payment Terms:

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) can be used to pay your invoices.

The terms are Net 30 days. A discount of 2% will be given if the invoice is paid within ten days. Shipping charges are prepaid and added to the invoice. Visa and MasterCard are accepted. No prompt payment discount given when credit cards are used.

Minimum Order:

Small orders are costly for you and your supplier. Orders under $50.00 are therefore subject to a processing and handling charge of $7.50.

Shipping Information:

Where specific shipping instructions are lacking, the method of shipment employed will be based on the nature of the material, destination, size, and weight of the package.

Shipping methods are as follows:

   • Second Day (Blue)
2. DHL
   • Next Afternoon -Delivered by 3pm the next day.
   • Second Day -Delivered by 5pm on the second business day.

Rush Orders

Orders can be shipped the same day they are received
providing the following criteria are meet.

• Order is received by 2pm standard Eastern Time
• The product can be made & QC tested by the carrier's pick up time.

Note: Due to restrictions by IATA, International Air Transport Association, some hazardous items may not be permitted to ship via air. Hazardous items shipped by air are normally shipped Priority, but are not guaranteed to be delivered by a specific time, due to the sensitive nature of the product.

All orders are shipped FOB Bay Shore, NY and will be delivered within seven business days.

Discounts:

Discounts are available on all products for large quantities, bulk orders, and standing orders. Please call for specific information.

Technical Assistance:

If for any reason you are not satisfied with a product, please call our technical department. In circumstances necessitating a return, a Return Authorization Number will be issued, and a replacement will be sent.

Special Formulas:

Poly Scientific will custom make any reagent or stain to your specifications. Please call us for details.

Returned Goods Policy:

Returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge, but incurrence of this charge will depend on the particular circumstances necessitating the return.
Please note that the following items cannot be returned:

Reagent Assembly Kits, Cytology Kits, Microwave Kits,

Buffers, Special Orders, Refrigerated Items.

Return shipments of hazardous materials must be packed, marked, labeled, and shipped in accordance with regulations governing transporting of hazardous materials.

All shipping costs will be paid by the returnee unless prior arrangements have been made.

Damaged or Lost Shipment:

Immediately upon receipt of your shipment, carefully open and inspect each item. Do not accept a damaged shipment. If you accept the damaged shipment, let the carrier’s driver make a "Damaged Shipment" notation on your delivery receipt or Bill of Lading. You must call the Customer Service Department within 24 hours of delivery to inform them of the damage.

Material Safety Data Sheets:

Poly Scientific is required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to send the Material Safety Data Sheet with the initial order of a particular item. The MSDS is packaged with your order and is in an envelope that is marked "Important: MSDS enclosed, please forward to Safety Director." It is up to your Receiving Department to distribute them to the proper party.

MSDS correspond to your orders that are placed with Poly Scientific. They are not kept in a file to just copy. Each Material Safety Data Sheet is maintained by trained personnel. MSDS can be requested providing an order has been placed with Poly Scientific. The MSDS can be sent to you via fax or E-Mail. Call extension 140.

General Information:

There are no warranties, either expressed or implied, which extend beyond the description of the items as contained on this web page. All items are sold in an "as is" condition and Poly Scientific R&D Corp. specifically disclaims all express warranties and implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Buyer assumes all risk and liability for the use and or results obtained by the use of the products covered by this invoice whether used singularly or in combination with other products.

All of our chemicals are offered for research and investigational purposes only and are not intended for drug, cosmetic, food, or household use. This means that Poly Scientific R&D Corp.’s chemicals:

* May not be used as drugs.
* May not be used as food additives.
* May not be used as cosmetics.
* May not be sold or used as household chemicals.

Poly Scientific R&D Corp. does not warrant that the use or sale of the products delivered hereunder will not infringe the claims of any United States Patent covering the product itself or the use thereof in combination with other products in the operation of any process.

Seller shall, under no circumstances, be responsible for incidental or consequential damages arising from the failure or delay in filling any order or orders when due to unsuccessful reactions, fires, floods, riots, strikes, freight embargoes or transportation delays, shortage of labor, inability to secure fuel, material, supplies or power at current prices or on account of shortages thereof, any existing future laws or acts of the federal or of any state or municipal government effecting the conduct of seller’s business with which seller, in its judgement and discretion deems it advisable to comply as a legal or moral duty, or to any other cause beyond seller’s reasonable control.

Seller warrants, to the original purchaser, only, that the products listed on this web page are of the composition and purity described therein.

Buyer’s damages for any products delivered by the seller shall be limited to the return of the goods and the repayment of the purchase price of the goods and shall never be greater in amount than the purchase price of the goods of which such damages are claimed. Recovery for incidental or consequential damages are specifically excluded. Furthermore, failure to give notice of a claim within ten (10) days from the date of delivery shall constitute a waiver by buyer of all claims.
